Summary
Ask for its records starting September 1, 2025. Same confidentiality shields as the utility commission.
This bill adds the independent organization that manages a Texas power region to the list of bodies covered by the state public information law. That reaches the grid manager certified under the Utilities Code and anyone who asks it for records. Starting September 1, 2025, the public can request its records, though the same confidentiality rules that shield the state utility commission's records also shield the grid manager's.
