THE TEXT

“location-restricted knife, club, or prohibited weapon listed in Section 46.05(a)”

Bill text, introduced version (I)

As a matter of general knowledge, Section 46.05 already makes possessing its listed prohibited weapons an offense anywhere, so that part adds little. The handgun and knife provisions are new restrictions, so this overlap is minor.
