Summary

The biennial report grows by two items.

The bill adds two new items to the existing biennial report on the Joint Admission Medical Program that the program council already sends to the governor, lieutenant governor and speaker. The council must now report how many students were dismissed, terminated, put on probation or withdrew from the program at each stage, and how much was spent on graduate scholarships for participating medical students, including the per-student amount and any need to keep an ending balance. The change touches only the council's reporting duty and takes effect immediately with a two-thirds vote, or on September 1, 2025.
