Summary

No new locations at all, not just no new counties.

The bill stops liquor package store permit holders from moving their permit to a new location, where current law only blocks moves to another county. It also says a buyer of an existing package store can get a new permit only if that store has run at the same spot for more than a year and the permit stays at that same spot. Package store owners who want to relocate, even across town, would have to apply for a brand-new permit instead of moving the old one.
