Summary
Family members lose the claim against doctors, pharmacists and people who help.
The bill bars wrongful death lawsuits over the death of an unborn child when the death results from an abortion. It touches family members who might sue, and anyone involved in an abortion who could be sued, such as doctors, pharmacists and people who help. Once it takes effect, Texas wrongful death law no longer covers abortion-related deaths of unborn children for claims that arise after that date.
