amended by amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (b-1) to

read as follows:

(b) The executive commissioner shall adopt minimum

standards for an assisted living facility classified under this

seven residents;

(B) for the evening shift, one nursing assistant

per 9.5 residents; and

(C) for the overnight shift, one nursing

assistant per 17 residents;

(2) adopt staffing policies to ensure residents'

needs, as determined by each resident's resident-centered care

plan, are met through direct care by staff at the facility; and

(3) disclose the facility's 24-hour staffing patterns:

(A) to prospective residents and their families;

and

(B) on the facility's Internet website.

(b-1) At least once a month, an assisted living facility

shall post the facility's updated 24-hour staffing pattern

is readily accessible to residents, employees, and visitors.

SECTION 2. As soon as practicable after the effective date

of this Act, the executive commissioner of the Health and Human

Services Commission shall adopt the minimum standards necessary to

implement the change in law made by this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
