Summary

A one-sided sticker where a hanging placard won’t work.

The bill lets the Department of Motor Vehicles issue a one-sided disabled parking sticker instead of a hanging placard when a placard is not feasible or practical, such as for motorcycles and three-wheeled vehicles. It touches people with disabilities who drive vehicles that cannot hold a placard, county tax offices that hand out the stickers, and the department that writes the rules. Starting September 1, 2025, those drivers can get a sticker carrying the same information and anti-counterfeit hologram as a placard, displayed on the left corner of the windshield and governed by the same placard laws.
