Summary

The challenger must name the voter and a specific unmet qualification.

This bill changes what a person must swear to when filing a challenge to someone else's voter registration with the county registrar. The challenger must name the voter and state a specific registration qualification the voter has not met, based either on personal knowledge or on a fact that is generally known or can be found in a reliable source. Registrars, voters filing challenges, and voters being challenged are affected, and challenges could now rest on records and other reliable sources instead of only on what the challenger personally knows.
