Summary

It was $150 a meeting. Now the general water district rule applies.

The bill removes the Aliana Management District's own cap on director pay, which was $150 per board meeting and $7,200 per year. Instead, the district may pay its directors under the general pay rule for water districts in Section 49.060 of the Water Code. The change affects only the directors of this one district, and it takes effect right away with a two-thirds vote or on September 1, 2025.
