Summary
Unless the exemption list names it. A report bill against reports.
This bill cancels every new report to the Legislature that any other bill passed in the 2025 regular session would create, unless this bill's own exemption list names it. It touches state agencies in the executive and judicial branches that would otherwise have to write those new reports, and it leaves older reports, constitutionally required reports and federally required reports alone. On the ground, new reporting duties from 2025 bills die on the later of August 31, 2025, or their start date, except for the ones listed, and the exemption list is still a blank placeholder in this version.
