Summary

Three properties get a grace year. A fourth on Calm Lake Road.

The bill lets the Health and Human Services Commission give the Bexar County mental health center, The Center for Health Care Services, one year before three properties it already holds revert to the state for non-use, and lets the commission hand over a fourth property on Calm Lake Road in San Antonio. It touches only the commission and that one center, which must use the land for community mental health services and report to the commission every three months. On the ground, the center gets more time to keep three sites and gets title to a fourth, while the state keeps the mineral rights and takes the land back if it sits unused for more than 365 days.
