Summary

Up to one year before three properties go back to the state.

The bill lets the Health and Human Services Commission give the Center for Health Care Services in Bexar County up to one year during which it can leave three state-linked properties unused before ownership automatically goes back to the state. In exchange, the center must report to the commission at least every three months on how it is using the properties, and any construction, renovation or repair aimed at providing community mental health services counts as using them. On the ground, three named parcels in Converse, Leon Valley and San Antonio stay with the center longer instead of snapping back to state ownership.
