Summary

The ban on condemnation gets deleted.

The bill deletes the section of state law that bars the Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 40 from using eminent domain. That touches the district and landowners inside or near it, whose property the district could now take for its projects through condemnation. Once it passes with a two-thirds vote, the district gets the same eminent domain power most utility districts already have.
