Summary

Grants go to school districts that show a big need.

The bill orders the Texas Education Agency to design an anti-bullying pilot program using research-based practices and outside experts, and to give grants to school districts that show a big need. Districts that win a grant may run the program at up to three campuses, with technical help from the agency or regional service centers, under application rules and spending rules the commissioner sets. None of it has to happen unless the Legislature sets aside money for it, and it takes effect September 1, 2025.
