One subsection of direct-to-customer sales rules, gone.
The bill repeals one subsection, Section 14.05(c), of the Alcoholic Beverage Code's rules for how distillers with a distiller's and rectifier's permit sell spirits directly to customers. It touches licensed Texas distillers and the customers who buy bottles from them. Whatever limit that subsection puts on those direct sales goes away on September 1, 2025, though the bill text does not restate what the subsection says.
