Summary

Phone hotline included. Pregnant women and new mothers go first.

The bill orders the state health department to create a program that helps people quit or avoid e-cigarettes and tobacco, including a phone hotline with quit counseling. The department must put pregnant women and women who gave birth in the past year first in line, and it must accept all eligible applicants in that group. The department can hire a nonprofit to run the program, but it has to pay for it out of money it already has, starting September 1, 2025.
