Summary

The month celebrates the United States and its citizens. It touches no one directly.

The bill adds one section to the Government Code naming July as American Pride Month to celebrate the achievements of the United States and its citizens. It touches no one directly; it says public schools and other places may hold activities about American history during the month. Nothing changes on the ground because the bill creates no duty, penalty, office, or spending.
