Summary

The required tax-increase statement would appear in bold, size 42 font.

The bill changes the rule for school district bond ballot wording so that the required line "THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE." must be printed in bold and in size 42 font. It touches school districts that call bond elections, the officials who print their ballots, and the voters who read them. Starting with elections ordered on or after September 1, 2025, that warning would appear in very large bold type on school bond propositions.
