Summary

Website first, a public place inside the district if none.

The bill changes where Texas water and special districts without a meeting place inside the district must post notice of board meetings, requiring posting on the district's website, or at a public place inside the district if there is no website. It also says notice of the filing period for district director candidates goes at the district's office in the district, or by the same website-or-public-place method if there is no office. It touches special districts and the residents and candidates who rely on those notices, and it takes effect September 1, 2025.
