Summary

Applies to conduct on or after September 1, 2025.

The bill adds stalking to the list of offenses for which a judge cannot place a convicted person on community supervision (probation). People convicted of stalking for conduct on or after September 1, 2025, lose access to judge-ordered probation, while earlier cases stay under the old rules. The other sections only renumber cross-references in the emergency medical services licensing law so those lists still point to the same offenses as before.
