relating to the administration of botulinum toxin by dentists.

Caption from analyzed text · version I.

Summary

Cosmetic, mouth to face, after a board-approved course.

The bill lets Texas dentists inject Botox-type neuromodulators into a patient's mouth, jaw and face area for cosmetic reasons, but only after finishing a training course the dental board approves. It touches dentists, their patients, and the State Board of Dental Examiners, which must write the rules by December 1, 2025. On the ground, dentists get a clear legal path to offer cosmetic injections, with a training requirement as the gate.
