Summary

The Texas Mining Council goes too, one year after notice.

The bill pulls Texas out of the Interstate Mining Compact and orders the governor to notify the other member states and publish notice in the Texas Register. One year after that notice, it abolishes the Texas compact commissioner's office and the Texas Mining Council and repeals the chapter of law that set up the compact. State mining oversight through the multistate compact ends, and the related state offices disappear.
