Summary

Every receipt and disbursement, assigned to one or the other.

The bill changes what a trustee must put in a written trust accounting, requiring each receipt and disbursement to be assigned to either principal or income. It touches trustees and trust beneficiaries, and it excuses trustees from that split when principal and income go to the same beneficiaries under the same distribution standard. A court can still order the split in that case if a beneficiary shows good cause, starting with accounting demands made on or after September 1, 2025.
