Summary
Local legislators, the city and the county all get told.
The bill requires the Public Utility Commission to send notice whenever a transmission and distribution utility appeals a city's rate order to the commission. The notice goes to each state legislator whose district includes part of that city, and to the governing bodies of the city and its county. Starting September 1, 2025, these officials will hear about new utility rate appeals directly from the commission instead of finding out some other way.
