Summary

More credit for students who enroll part of the year.

The bill changes how attendance is counted for adult high school charter programs, giving schools more attendance credit for students who enroll for only part of the year. It touches adult education charter programs and the state funds that flow to them based on attendance. A student enrolled for half the year now counts for three-quarters of the year instead of half, and similar bumps apply at lower enrollment levels, which raises the money these programs receive starting September 1, 2025.
