Summary

One more item for the state’s education data system.

The bill adds one item to the list of things each Texas school district must report to the state's education data system at the end of every school year. Districts must now report how many students earned each type of high school performance acknowledgment, on top of the enrollment counts they already report. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, the state gets a count of students earning these acknowledgments from every district.
