Summary

Two-thirds of the course time, at least.

The bill orders the State Board of Education to write rules requiring every public high school student to complete at least one course that satisfies the existing economics-related curriculum requirement in Subsection (a)(2)(H). That course must spend at least two-thirds of its instruction time on personal financial literacy. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, high schools and students would face a set course requirement in which most of the class time covers personal finance.
