It covers counselors, therapists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, physicians, behavior analysts and other licensed providers who work with anyone under 18. Providers who do this face discipline from their licensing boards starting September 1, 2025, while supportive counseling and support for a child's gender transition are expressly allowed.
