Summary

Chapters 809 and 2276, gone. Does nothing else.

The bill repeals two whole chapters of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 809 and Chapter 2276, and does nothing else. The caption says these rules deal with state contracting with companies that boycott certain energy companies, so it touches state agencies and the companies that contract with them. Once the bill takes effect, immediately with a two-thirds vote or otherwise on September 1, 2025, those chapters stop applying.
