Summary

Nurses, plumbers, electricians and engineers who teach their field skip the fee.

The bill requires state licensing agencies to waive the license renewal fee for college faculty and adjunct professors who teach in certain high-demand fields. It covers people licensed as nurses, pharmacists, radiologic technologists, respiratory care practitioners, engineers, plumbers, air conditioning contractors, electricians, educators, and bilingual or special language teachers who teach that field at a Texas public college or university.
