Parole officers can’t limit how many interviews a parolee attends in a day.
The bill bars parole officers from capping how many job interviews a parolee can attend in a day. It also bars them from requiring separate approval for a job-interview visit to a place the parolee was already approved to visit for a related purpose. People released from state prison on parole or supervision and their parole officers are affected, and parolees get more freedom to job hunt starting immediately or September 1, 2025.
