Summary
Cities over 100,000 people take half the usual time.
The bill makes cities with more than 100,000 people rule on building permits for housing projects that got low income housing tax credits in half the time they normally take for residential permits. It touches those cities' permit offices and the developers of tax-credit housing projects. If a city already has a fast-track permit process, these projects get to use it, starting with applications filed on or after September 1, 2025.
