Summary

Security seals on every unit.

The bill requires voting system equipment to be stored in a locked room and requires election officials to put security seals on every unit of voting equipment. It touches county and other local election officials who keep voting machines and memory media. On the ground, officials must track which polling place each storage device goes to, record which seals are on each machine, and log who broke a seal and why, starting with elections ordered after September 1, 2025.
