Summary

Wrong company? It forwards the complaint within five business days.

The bill sets rules for complaints about overgrown trees and brush near power and telecom lines when the complaint goes to a company that does not own the line. That company must forward the complaint in writing to the line's owner within five business days, tell the person who complained, and give them the owner's contact information. If the owner does not trim within five business days, it must let the company that forwarded the complaint do the trimming and pay that company's reasonable costs; city-owned electric utilities are left out of the definition.
