Summary

Sanitarians in training get a formal definition.

This bill cleans up the state law that registers sanitarians, the people trained to inspect and teach about environmental sanitation, and adds a formal definition of a sanitarian in training. It touches sanitarians, trainees, and the state department that registers them. On the ground, trainee registration is limited to people with less than one year of full-time experience, the department must renew a certificate when the holder pays the fee and finishes any required continuing education, and two parts of the exam section are repealed.
