relating to the delivery of alcoholic beverages by holders of a consumer delivery permit.

Caption from analyzed text · version I.

Summary

Replaces the county, city and two-mile limits.

The bill changes where a business holding a consumer delivery permit can deliver beer, wine, and liquor to customers. It replaces the old limits (the retailer's county, city, or two miles past city limits) with a single radius of up to 50 miles from the retailer's store, still only where the sale is legal. Delivery companies and retailers can serve a wider area starting September 1, 2025, and customers farther from stores can get alcohol delivered.
