Summary

Property, debts and contracts, by contract.

The bill lets the Angelina and Neches River Authority sign a contract to take over the Woodlawn Water Supply Corporation's property, debts, and contracts. It touches the corporation, its members and customers, the river authority, and two state agencies that must record the handoff. Once the contract is signed, the authority owns the water system and holds its service certificate, no one can protest or seek review of the transfer, and the corporation must start dissolving within 30 days.
