Summary

All property and casualty insurers, not just the top 25.

The bill orders the Texas Department of Insurance to run a website listing every property and casualty insurer in the state, with a phone number or web link for filing a claim. It covers all personal and commercial property and casualty insurers, not just the top 25 national groups already covered by the existing comparison-website law. Policyholders get one state page to find where to file a claim, and insurers must hand the department the information it asks for, starting September 1, 2025.
