Summary

Every governmental body reports by October 1. The AG posts them all.

The bill requires every governmental body covered by the Texas public information law to tell the attorney general, by October 1 each year, the mailing address and email address it uses to receive public records requests. The attorney general must then post all of those addresses in a public online database. Texans filing records requests get one place to look up where to send them, and agencies have a yearly reporting duty.
