Summary

TEA sends notice at least 60 days ahead, with teaching materials.

The bill requires the Texas Education Agency to send every school district a notice about Holocaust Remembrance Week at least 60 days before the week begins. The notice must point districts to teaching materials from the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission. Districts get an advance heads-up each year starting with the 2025-2026 school year, but nothing new is required of the schools themselves.
