Summary

10,000 gallons or more means mail to owners within 500 feet.

The bill requires anyone applying to install or modify a large stationary propane (LP-gas) tank setup of 10,000 gallons or more to mail notice to nearby property owners. It touches applicants filing with the Railroad Commission and all property owners within 500 feet of the proposed tank location. Neighbors get proof-of-delivery mail about big propane installations before they go in, and applicants must keep the delivery records for a period the commission sets.
