Summary

Statements, receipts, debit card proof and bills of sale.

The bill adds four new items a guardian of a ward's estate must attach to each annual account filed with the court. Guardians must now include full bank or investment statements for the end of the period, receipts for all purchases and expenses, proof for debit card and ATM spending, and a bill of sale for any personal property sold. Courts get more paper to check how guardians spend a ward's money, and guardians carry a heavier recordkeeping load starting September 1, 2025.
