Summary

No verbal warning first at school sports.

The bill lets referees, judges and other officials at school-sponsored or UIL-sanctioned athletic events throw out a spectator without first giving a verbal warning. It touches game officials, spectators at school sports, and school districts. On the ground, an official can eject a fan right away instead of warning first and waiting to see if the behavior continues, starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
