Summary

$1, $5, $10 or $20 for the operation game thief fund.

The bill lets people buying a Texas hunting or fishing license add a voluntary donation of $1, $5, $10, or $20 to the existing operation game thief fund. It requires Texas Parks and Wildlife to put a donation box on the first page of every license application and offer the same option on its website. The department must deposit the donations into the fund each month, after first taking out its reasonable costs for running the program, starting September 1, 2025.
