One subsection, Section 44A.002(b), gone. That’s the whole bill.
This bill repeals one subsection, Section 44A.002(b), of the Agriculture Code, which governs the Urban Farm Microenterprise Support Program. The caption says the change concerns the use of state money for that program, so it touches the state agriculture department and the small urban farms the program serves. The bill does not print the repealed text, but its caption points to removing a limit on state money for the program, starting September 1, 2025.
