Summary

Invasive visual recording and indecent assault victims join stalking victims.

The bill widens an existing confidentiality program so that victims of invasive visual recording and indecent assault can shield their identifying information, not just stalking victims. It touches those victims and the courts, police and records holders who handle their names. On the ground, more victims can use a pseudonym and keep their identity out of public records starting September 1, 2025.
