Summary

Online by December 31, statewide and district by district.

The bill requires the Texas Education Agency to post a yearly report on its website by December 31 giving an overview of public education statewide and district by district for the prior school year. It touches the agency, which must build browsable and downloadable data tables, a peer search tool that groups districts by shared traits, and definitions and sources for each data point. Parents, taxpayers and officials get a standing, searchable public profile of every school district starting with the law's September 1, 2025 effective date.
