Summary

Covers workers who reported it to the employer, police, the state commission or EEOC.

The bill adds a new reason a worker who quits can still collect unemployment benefits: leaving the job because of sexual harassment. It covers workers who reported the harassment to their employer or police, or who filed a complaint with the state commission or the federal EEOC. Starting September 1, 2025, new claims from these workers cannot be denied just because they quit.
