Summary
Cross-references, mostly. Same move for mobility devices.
The bill changes the definition of "crosswalk" in the Texas law on motor vehicle collisions with pedestrians and other vulnerable road users so that it points to the general crosswalk definition elsewhere in the Transportation Code. It also keeps or sets a definition of "electric personal assistive mobility device" in that same section by pointing to another existing section. It touches drivers who strike a pedestrian or vulnerable road user in a crosswalk, and the area that counts as a crosswalk under that law follows the general definition starting September 1, 2025.
