Summary

State Board of Education writes guidelines with Parks and Wildlife.

The bill lets Texas school districts and charter schools offer hunter education to high school students inside courses that count toward graduation. It orders the State Board of Education to write hunter education curriculum guidelines with the Parks and Wildlife Department that meet the state's hunter education certificate requirements.
